Jeff Stevenson has a very good post on his blog about simplifying how users access EnterpriseOne using Apache virtual hosts, DNS mappings, host aliases and redirects.

Make a URL that looks like this:

http://server.company.com:82/jde/owhtml

Look like this:

http://e1.company.com or http://e1
