Package Build Error on Business Services
While trying to run a package build on a newly installed instance of EnterpriseOne 9.0, we kept getting errors like the following:
Mon Nov 22 11:30:01 – Building Business Services. Log: \SERVERNAMEE900PS900packageWPS9CAAworksbfUnjar_BusinessService.log.
Mon Nov 22 11:30:01 – PkgStatus.cpp:1836 PKGSTS0037 ERROR: Failed to open SBF build status file \SERVERNAMEE900PS900packageWPS9CAAworksbfUnjar_BusinessService.log.
Well, to resolve the error we found that there is a processing option on the P9601 that specifies that the Business Services objects are not built. I followed Oracle Doc ID 1134363.1.
To set the Processing Option so that the checkbox is unchecked (i.e. BSSVs will not be built):
- From the GH9083 menu, click once on Package Assembly application (P9601) to set focus, right-click and choose Prompt for Values.
- For the third PO "Business Services" set the value to either blank or 0 and the BSSV checkbox will be unchecked within the application when you assemble new packages.
